Finaly I worked on these video material. Again I watched these videos, that field-sounds, that colour, that spring, feeling of freedon, full of inspiration. Today (12.02.2025) it is still in winter, minus temperature. I see those videos and looking forward of coming spring! Next week on 21st of Feb. 2025, my Cello Quartet "Hunter Underwater" will give a concert, a CD release concert in Kühlspot Social Club, Berlin. The Album "Archipelago", we worked since 2020-2022, gathers composition-works from us. Info.: Hunter Underwater is a cello quartet founded by Hui-Chun Lin. The group has been playing together for many years, blending improvised music with compositional ideas. Their music is diverse, ranging from deep, warm, sustained tones to high frequencies. The use of extended techniques, mixing sounds (Noise) and tones, often accompanied by prepared objects on the cellos, as well as complex forms and structures, are characteristic elements of Hunter Underwater. The ensemble’s genre includes improvised and contemporary music, real-time music, and sound art. The compositions of Hunter Underwater often explore themes such as the environment, landscapes, nature, and sometimes history. The group frequently reflects on contemporary events or natural phenomena through their music. The four musicians, all with extensive experience in chamber music, perform in the moment, adding a sense of tension and intensity to their music. They are both composers and improvisers. The Berlin-based Cello Quartet „Hunter Underwater„ consists of Guilherme Rodrigues, Gábor Hartyáni, Guido Kohn, and Hui-Chun Lin. Coming from different cultural backgrounds, they are active in various musical fields. 歲末與芳一,雨樵約在藝術家陳慶銘的鹽埕區工作室#已知用火,做公開即興。那裡認識何承恩,一位年輕的聲音藝術家。
一開始是芳一、雨樵與我三人的即興。 還記得上一次遇到兩位是在2019年的12月31日在高雄即興。延續那感覺很開心地與他們一起做歲末音樂,敘述從20202到2024年間未碰面彼此的音樂延續。 我喜歡彼此的聲音毫無定音在空氣中漂流,微分音從聲帶中飄逸與物件聲響結合,我在大提琴上選音非常自由,沒有聲量的壓力,隨意一起在音樂中遊走。 芳一,可以從不同物件中做聲音。我每次遇到他都感覺到他一直在蛻變中,很專注也執著。 接下來的兩首即興是四個人的即興,與高雄聲音藝術家何承恩一起做即興。他用的物件皆是自製,日常用品外製,甚至用助聽器來發聲。 我們的音樂有時候在雨樵的故事裡,故事外發展,有時候彼此呼印著。有時候像是古音、古詩、古寓言故事、西方、東方故事、東西方聲響交匯。有時候那些狀聲詞與聲音,旋律對似著,一瞬間化成詩意般的畫面。 而我,盤旋在從西方社會來的,手上拿著西方樂器,面對著自己的故鄉、人,語言與藝術。我看著那種繽紛交錯的畫面在彼此對話,彼此撞擊,有時呢喃,有時撞出那噗嗤的幽默。 我喜歡這天即興的不同的片段。聆聽著晚的即興紀錄,需要不少時間,慢慢嚼食。 附上錄音紀錄 照片紀錄:陳慶銘 **看錄音紀錄,與方一、雨樵曾在2020年一月19日在巴多池塘做公開的即興演出。 **藝術家陳慶銘的工作室非常有趣,走在不同層老宅裡欣賞他的作品,也欣賞台灣老宅留下的記憶。 |
